About The Fangirl

Posted by The Discriminating Fangirl  Published in The Discriminating Fangirl

The Discriminating FangirlThe Discriminating Fangirl lives on a tropical beach in a bungalow complete with a cabana boy. Er… well, in her imagination, anyway. Outside of her imagination, she lives in North Texas with four dogs, two horses, and a couple of family members. She is working on her Master’s degree in English and will probably end up teaching pop culture as literature at a university one of these days. TDF is also editing her department’s creative arts journal, and will hopefully emerge from this duty in May 2009 with her sanity intact. She still harbors a great desire to be the female version of Indiana Jones and might one day get a couple of degrees in art history and Egyptology.

TDF is an interesting blend of girly and geek. Favorite things include books, comic books, perfume oils, science fiction/fantasy, makeup, movies, photography, food, travel, and the internet. She enjoys long walks on the beach, margaritas, and… er, nevermind.
